The Seattle HIV Vaccine Trials Unit (HVTU) is a program of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington, dedicated to working with the local community to provide HIV vaccine education and research for people interested in fighting HIV.

Tuesday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 8PM, and Saturdays 1 PM to 5 PM. Due to high demand, making an appointment is recommended. Free, with donations gladly accepted. Gay City does not diagnose STDs-- if you are experiencing symptoms, please call the STD Hotline at (206)205-7837.

HIV Primary Infection Clinic

The Primary Infection Clinic is part of the University of Washington's extensive HIV research effort to understand and help conquer HIV. They have a research program for newly infected HIV positive individuals. Their studies provide free visits and free lab tests.

The Social Security and Disability Resource Center is an informational website that provides answers to questions about how to apply for disability, how to appeal a claim in the event of a denial, how to navigate the federal system, and how to avoid certain mistakes that are commonly made by applicants. The site’s author is a former disability examiner for the social security administration.
